My booking is a private transfer or shared one? All our services are private transfers and your group will be the only passenger of the vehicle. This means no waiting, no queues and no additional stops to arrive to your final destination.

Can I order a child seat? Optional equipment like a child seat may be requested directly in our reservation form. You can order up to two childseats/boosters for vehicle.

There is no extra charge to be paid to the driver? No additional costs are required for the airport taxes, tax Cruise Port, luggage or extra baggage, highway or any other fee. The price you pay online is the final price, all inclusive.

Where the driver will meet my group? Where I will find the meeting point?
Arriving to the airport of Barcelona: the driver will be waiting inside the airport terminal, in arrivals area, after luggage claim and custom clearance. He will show a sign indicating the name of the passenger or group booking complete the form.

Leaving the city to Barcelona airport: for hotel pickup, the driver will collect you at the hotel reception. If you are being picked up from private apartment or villa, please be waiting right in front of the address indicated in reservation form at pick-up time planned for the group. In other cases, please provide the address from where you want your group to be collected during the booking process.

Airport Overview

Barcelona International Airport (otherwise called El Prat de Llobregat Aeropuerto or Aeroport de Barcelona) is arranged 13 km South West of the downtown area. The airport abbreviation is (BCN). This abbreviation is frequently used by online flight reservations systems and will be probably printed on your carrier ticket.

Barcelona airport is the closest and busiest airfield to Barcelona downtown area and accepts more than 35 million guests every year.

The airport has 2 terminals: Terminal 1 (abbreviated to T1) and Terminal 2 which has 3 separate structures called T2a, T2b and T2c.

For simplicity of reference we may utilize abbreviations for every Terminal as a part of line with the AENA (Spanish Airports and Air Navigation) standard naming system. i.e.

The airport is the second largest in Spain behind Madrid Barajas Airport and 31st busiest in the world, and is the main airport of Catalonia. It is a main base for Vueling, a hub for Iberia Regional and low-cost giant Ryanair as well as a focus city for Air Europa. The airport mainly serves domestic, European and North African destinations, also having flights to Southeast Asia (Singapore), Latin America (Argentina, Brazil and Colombia) and North America (United States and Canada). The Airport was a hub for Spanair before it suspended services on January 27, 2012.

The Barcelona–Madrid air shuttle service, known as the "Puente Aéreo" (in Spanish), or "Pont Aeri" (in Catalan) literally "Air Bridge", was the world's busiest route until 2008, with the highest number of flight operations (971 per week) in 2007. The schedule has been reduced since February 2008, when a Madrid–Barcelona high-speed rail line was opened, covering the distance in 2 hours 30 minutes, and quickly became popular.

In 2011, nearly 34.4 million passengers used Barcelona Airport,[8] a 17.8% increase compared with 2010. In 2012, Barcelona Airport handled 35.1 million passengers, making it the only of the major airports of Spain to report an increase. In 2013 Barcelona Airport handled 35,210,735 passengers.[10] Currently, Barcelona-El Prat is the 10th busiest airport in Europe just behind London Gatwick Airport and right in front of Moscow Domodedovo Airport.

From February 2014, Barcelona-El Prat was the first Spanish airport to receive a daily Airbus A380 operated by Emirates on its routes to Dubai International Airport, an important milestone in its history.
